Send message
Send a message with an optional file
Send message delivers text and optional files through your Telegram connection. Use it at the end of a workflow to report a result.
Try it step by step#
- Select a Telegram connection and enter the destination Chat ID.
- Set Text to Workflow finished. Connect Start and run once in a chat you control.
- Replace the fixed text with an expression from an earlier node. Use the received message’s chat ID when building a reply workflow.
What to expect#
Telegram receives the message and the node emits delivery information. Inspect the output before adding more sends or a repeating schedule.
Things to check#
- A chat ID identifies a conversation; it is not the bot token. Keep credentials in the saved connection.
- If sending fails, check the chat ID and whether the bot can post in that conversation.
- A retry can send a duplicate if delivery succeeded but its response was lost.
