Message subscribe

Listen for incoming text messages

Telegram

Message subscribe keeps listening for incoming text messages on your Telegram connection. Each accepted message starts the connected downstream path.

Try it step by step#

  1. Create a Telegram connection and select it in the node.
  2. Connect Start → Message subscribe → Variable. Run the workflow, then send a text message to the bot.
  3. Inspect the received output and use its chat and message fields to build a reply with Send message.

What to expect#

The listener emits message data when a matching text message arrives. Starting the listener alone does not produce a sample message.

Things to check#

  • Keep the selected runtime running while listening. Stop the workflow when you finish the exercise.
  • Use a chat filter when only one conversation should trigger the path. An empty listening period is not proof of a failed run.
