Open Raydium CLMM position

Open a price-range position with a position NFT

SolanaRaydium

Open Raydium CLMM position creates a new liquidity position with a lower and upper price bound. The bounds define the range in which that position provides liquidity.

Try it step by step#

  1. Inspect the CLMM pool, its token ordering, and current price.
  2. Choose Lower Price and Upper Price, then choose the token used to specify Amount.
  3. Review the range and funding before execution. Save positionNftAddress from the result for later position operations.

What to expect#

The result identifies the pool and new position. The position NFT identifies that position; it is different from the pool address.

Things to check#

  • Lower Price must be below Upper Price. The implementation aligns the range to supported ticks.
  • Use Increase Raydium CLMM position to add to an existing position without creating a new one.
  • The selected amount token and price range determine the paired funding requirements.

Parameters#

SettingDefaultWhat it does
RPC URL{{global.chains.solana.rpcUrl}}Configured for Solana in workspace RPC settings.
CommitmentconfirmedHow far a Solana block must be confirmed before its data is used.
Wallet{{global.main_wallet}}Wallet that owns the assets or position and signs this operation.
Raydium API URL—Optional Raydium data API URL. Leave empty to use the configured network endpoint.
Compute Unit Limit600000Maximum compute units requested for the transaction.
Priority Fee Ceiling (micro-lamports/CU)100000The locally audited transaction may never exceed this price.
Signing LayerautoSigning provider to use. Auto selects an available provider for this run.
Skip PreflightfalseSkip the RPC preflight check before sending. Keep this off while learning.
ConfirmfalseWait for transaction confirmation after submission.
Pool—Address identifying the pool for this operation.
Lower Price—Lower bound of the position’s price range, aligned to supported pool ticks.
Upper Price—Upper bound of the position’s price range; must exceed Lower Price.
Amount TokenMintAToken whose units are used for Amount. The paired amount is calculated from the pool and position.
Amount—Decimal deposit amount for the selected Amount Token, Mint A or Mint B.
Slippage (%)0.5Maximum tolerated execution change in percent; 0.5 means half a percent.
Position NFT Standardtoken2022Token program used for the new position NFT.
On failurestopChoose whether a failed execution stops the workflow or only ends this path.
Retry attempts0How many additional attempts to make after the first failure.
