Create coin
Launch a Pump Token-2022 coin
Create coin creates a Pump coin with the selected metadata and quote asset. This is a signing operation, so prepare the metadata and wallet before running it.
Try it step by step#
- Choose the payer and enter the name, symbol, and metadata URI for the coin you intend to create.
- Choose the quote asset. For Custom, supply the matching quote mint address.
- Review the creator address and optional modes, then run only when those choices are intentional. Record the returned mint and signature.
What to expect#
The result includes mint, bondingCurve, transactionSignature, and the selected mode flags. It does not upload the metadata behind the URI.
Things to check#
- The creator receives creator fees and need not be the signing payer.
- Mayhem and cashback change coin behavior. Leave optional modes off until you understand their effect.
- Do not rerun creation to “refresh” a result; another run can create another coin.
