Merge
Join incoming branches
Merge collects data from branches that all run. It waits for one incoming value from each connected edge, then combines them into an array.
Try it step by step#
- Connect Start to two Variable nodes. In one, set team to Design; in the other, set team to Build.
- Connect both Variable outputs to Merge’s in port.
- Run once and inspect Merge. Connect it to Iterate when you want to process the collected values individually.
What to expect#
The result contains the two team objects. Incoming arrays are flattened by one level: [1,2] and [3] become [1,2,3]. The objects’ fields are not merged into one object.
Things to check#
- Every incoming edge must produce a value. Mutually exclusive If branches are not a suitable pair of Merge inputs.
- Use Iterate’s done output when your goal is to wait for an item loop to finish.
