Send email

Send email with optional file attachments

Email

Send email delivers a plain-text message through a saved email connection in Desktop. It can also attach temporary files created earlier in the run.

Try it step by step#

  1. In Desktop, configure an email connection and select it in the node.
  2. Set To to an address you control, Subject to Workflow result, and Text body to My first email.
  3. Connect Start and run once. Inspect accepted and rejected recipients before adding dynamic content or attachments.

What to expect#

The output includes messageId, accepted, rejected, and sentAt. Provider acceptance means the send was accepted; it does not prove the recipient read the message.

Things to check#

  • The message needs a text body or an attachment. HTML composition is not supported by this node.
  • Use the Desktop runtime and check connection setup if delivery is unavailable.
  • Keep the first exercise to one recipient. A repeating schedule or retry can create repeated emails.
